5月26日，上海宏润博源学校终于盼来2020校园英语歌曲大赛。本学期场线下活动。本场主持人是梁同学和吴同学。

May 26th saw the much-anticipated 2020 SHBS English song singing competition. It was the first CAS activity since we reopened offline . The competition was co-hosted by Hina Liang and William Wu.

金同学、陈同学早已是学校歌赛舞台上的明星，金同学清亮的音色给比赛来了一个开门红;陈同学的男低音，令同学们听得如痴如醉。

Elaine and Boyham had been starred singers of our school for a long time.Elaine started the competition with her slivery voice, while Boyham enchanted the audience with his low-pitched voice.

杨同学选择的歌曲是Someone You Loved。在2020年的第四十届全英音乐奖上，这首歌获得了英国歌曲的荣誉。舒涵的演唱富有力量和情感，声音很稳;当演唱结束时，她获得了非常热烈的掌声。

廖同学认真地唱了“一千年以后”的英文版。平时极其安静的她，却敢于在全校师生面前唱歌，她用声音告诉我们，女高音也能有诗一般的滋味。

Felicity chose to present us “Someone You Loved”,which won the honor of the best song of Britain at the 40th All Britain Music Awards of the year 2020. She sang the song with power and emotion. Her performance was awarded by a big round of applause.

Lynn sang a song named “A thousand years later” wholeheartedly. Quiet girl as she usually was,this time she was brave enough to sing in front of all the teachers and students again. She showed us with her voice the poetic beauty of a soprano.

李同学优雅地唱了由超人气美国歌手Taylor Swift 原唱的Love Story。其描绘了罗密欧与朱丽叶之间的美好爱恋。她的状态非常自然——先是倚在钢琴边，再慢慢地移至舞台中央。她的声音极其甜美，像夏日的冰糖，融化在每一位听众的心里。

热爱影视作品的李同学选择《艺伎回忆录》的PPT作背景;卜一洋的台风似乎慵慵懒懒，但当她从一个音突然转到另一个音，那颤音的技法惊艳了全场;徐晟哲同学纯熟的技巧，让人忍不住怀疑他是音乐学院毕业的，想必斩获了不少粉丝。

Charlotte gracefully presented us the song “Love Story”, originally sung by Taylor Swift, an American popular superstar. This song depicts the everlasting romance of Romeo & Juliet. She gave her performance very naturally by leaning against the piano first and then slowly walking toward the centre of the stage. Her voice was as sweet as candies, enchanting everyone present.

Jasmine, a fan of movies and TV plays, made her background PPT with scenes from the movie “Memoirs of Geisha”. Oceane appeared to be relaxed and casual on the stage, but as she switched from one note to another, she amazed all the audience with her trills. Sean sang his song so skillfully that we couldn’t help guessing that he might have been a graduate from music school. He harvested quite a lot of fans with his voice.

但是，山外有山，人外有人。沈燕莉同学一曲Idon’twannabeyouanymore，同学们直呼“专业”。

爱从天空缓缓降临，落在了蝴蝶的翅膀上。蝴蝶歌唱着在空中飞舞，仿佛忘记了时间的存在。郑翔之同学一曲butterfly，听众们跟着节奏拍着手，我们的王伟老师也鼓掌叫好。

But, however strong you are, there’s always someone stronger than you. Jessica sang a song named “I don’t wanna be you anymore”, making us impressed by her singing expertise.

"As love falls down from the sky, landing on the wings of a butterfly. The butterfly sings to its melody, and flies in the air as if it forgets the existence of time." Jenny brought us a song named “Butterfly”, making the audience clap to its rhythms. Tony Wang cheered for her with applause.

接下来就是最最精彩的结束。12年级钟同学带来了L-O-V-E，中外老师竞相上台，随着欢快的歌声，手拉手共同跳起了交谊舞。欢歌笑语中，本次英语歌曲比赛画上了句号。

The singing competition ended with the most wonderful song “Love”presented by Harry. A few teachers, both Chinese and foreign, stepped onto the stage and danced to Harry’s lively song. The English song singing competition was successfully concluded in singing and laughter.
