10月19日，是上海宏润博源学校最美教室/宿舍评比活动。从早至中午的休息时间，同学们都在忙碌“最后的装饰”。

On Oct. 19th, SHBS teachers and students made appraisals of their homerooms and dorm rooms to pick out the most beautiful ones. During the spare time from morning to noon, students were busy making the final decorations in their respective homerooms.

下午CAS时刻，同学们分批次参观教室、女寝室与男寝室。

At the CAS time in the afternoon, teachers and students paid visits in turn to different classrooms and boys’and girls’ dorm rooms.

教室的布置各有千秋，有些教室走温馨路线，装饰彩纸鲜亮活泼，家长寄语与学生的话，令人感受到温暖与力量;有些教室布置得“天马行空”，各种炫彩的海报，彩灯与吊坠等饰品，看起来新奇又充满神秘感;有些教室充满了学习氛围，墙上各学科的书皮封面，英语句型与单词的学案，时刻提醒着同学们作为学生的本分与义务;更有教室“剑走偏锋”，拉上窗帘关上了灯，在桌上摆上了蜡烛和南瓜，装饰得很有玄奥气氛。

最美教室评比

同学们看得眼花缭乱，有些打分的同学结伴讨论教室布置情况，有些边欣赏边打分。教室更像温暖的家，更让人感到学习的快乐!

Each homeroom was unique in its interior layout and decoration. Some of them were characterized by a warm and sweet atmosphere. Decorated with brightly colored papers, parents’ wishes and students’ remarks, these rooms filled us with warmth and motivation; Other rooms were decorated in an unrestrained and vigorous style that brimmed with talent. Adorned with colorful posters, colored lights and pendants etc., those rooms looked fancy and mysterious; Still others were made quite academic with the covers of various textbooks, notes on English sentence patterns and vocabulary pinned on the walls, always reminding students of their own role and responsibility. One classroom was even decorated in an usual style, with drapes drawn and lights off, and with candles and pumpkins placed on the desks, filling it with a mystic atmosphere.Students were dazzled by these classrooms. Some of them were discussing with their partners about the decoration of each room so that they could grade it, while others were enjoying the beauty of the rooms while grading them. Our homerooms did live up to its name, and they gave us more pleasure when we were studying inside them.

寝室的布置有不少亮点。由于男女生次进到对方的宿舍里，大家都有些新奇与激动。

女生寝室二楼的参观中，有不少男生惊呼宿舍条件之好，房间之大。有些宿舍装上了会说话的机器，走进去时候会有“欢迎光临”的响声，有些宿舍则十分细心地在墙上贴了该舍每个同学爱喝的奶茶口味。有些同学改装了宿舍家具，换上了更舒服的椅子。更有些宿舍充满家的氛围，立着架子，放着不同种类的食物。

女生三楼也十分有特色，有些宿舍有着好闻的香味, 有些宿舍的墙上各种照片显得宿舍更有风味。还有些宿舍充满学习氛围，立着书架放着书本。参观别人的宿舍总是有趣且新奇的，也让人大开眼界。

Many striking features could be found in the decorations of dorm rooms. Since it was the first time for some boys and girls to exchange visits to each others’ dorm rooms, they felt a little curious and excited.Quite a few boys were amazed at the good living conditions and the spacious rooms when they visited some of the girls’ dorm rooms on the second floor. An electronic talking device was installed in one of the rooms, so on entering it, you would hear a voice say “Welcome”. In another room, different flavors of milk tea were thoughtfully posted on the walls,telling visitors different tastes of those living in this room. Some students replaced several pieces of their dorm furniture with more comfortable chairs. Others installed shelves in their dorm room and put all kinds of food on them, making it more like their home.The girls’ dorm rooms on the third floor also distinguished themselves by pleasant scents. Various photos on the walls made some dorm rooms very distinctive. Bookshelves filled with books revealed a strong academic environment in others.

男生寝室也很有看头，寝室里面的布置与排版大有不同。有些为了充分利用空间而增添了架子。有些宿舍里放着轻松愉快的乐曲，一筐筐小零食摆在桌上，招待来访者。有些宿舍简约干净，有些宿舍科技感满满。

最美寝室评比

每个宿舍都各有千秋，但最让人难忘的是同学们为了自己宿舍做的努力与贡献，实是让人感叹不已。

Boys’ dorm rooms were worth visiting, too. The interior decoration and layout of boys’ dorm rooms were vastly different from those of girls’. Some had shelves fixed so that they could make the best use of their space. Music was being played in some rooms, with packets of snacks placed on the desk to treat the visitors. Some rooms were plain and tidy,while others boasted elements of science and technology.

行政班是个集体，宿舍也是个集体，同学们都在为自己的同学、朋友与室友拼一把劲，共同商讨，共同布置，在获得荣誉感的同时，更获得了团结感与集体感。让我们在班级与集体中的感受更加强烈，责任与义务更加鲜明，集体就是我们的家。

A homeroom class is a community, so is a dorm room. In addition to winning honor by discussing and working together to decorate their rooms, students also gained unity and cohesion. Through this activity, we feel more strongly that everyone belongs to this community,we are more clearly aware of our own responsibility, and we realize that this community is our home.

不论评选名次如何，我们依旧相信，在我们心中，最美的是我们的教室，是我们的宿舍，最美的是我们的“家”。

No matter what the results of this appraisal activity will be, we still believe that in our eyes, the most beautiful place is our homeroom, our dorm room and our community.
