11月9日，上海宏润博源学校家长大讲堂再次开讲。这次家长们决定跟我们聊聊他们的行业是如何赚钱的，引起我们兴趣的同时，也帮助我们了解各个行业!七位嘉宾分别是从事兽医药制造业的龙爸、从事保险行业的伍妈妈、做金融投资的张妈妈、从事环境领域的杨爸爸、在教育培训行业的周妈妈、艾信息公司创办人吴妈妈，以及负责主持的彭爸爸。

November the 9th saw another sharing session by SHBS parents. This time, the topic is "How do you make profits in your own lines of business." The seven parents are Kaisa Long’s father, who was the owner of a company manufacturing veterinary medicine; Charlotte Li’s mother, who was an insurance agent; Leo Jiang’s mother, who specialized in financial investment; Grievous’s father, who was in the line of environment conservation; Elvis Fu’s mother, who was in the line of education and training; Felicity Yang’s mother, who was founder of Youai Information Consulting Co. Ltd, and Edward Peng's father, who was the moderator of the session.

彭爸爸为多家创业创始人，是本次讲堂的主持人，他创意性地以“四问”将今天的话题串起今天话题，一问：各位家长从事的行业是怎么赚到钱的?

Edward Peng’s father, who was the founder of many start-ups and also the moderator of this session, creatively developed today’s topic by raising a series of 4 questions. Firstly, he asked how each guest speaker succeeded in make profits in his or her own industry.

龙爸说他的行业赚钱很容易!这令大家都很羡慕。龙爸解释说，一个行业具有较高技术水平，具有专业特性，所以比较好赚钱;伍妈妈介绍保险行业从业人员愿意接受挑战，有沟通能力、管理能力，能赚钱;张妈妈提到在制造业，技术强、运用脑力工作者更高收入;杨爸爸说自己起先是从贸易中赚到了笔金。

Everyone was envious of Kaisa’s father when he said that it was very easy for him to make profits in his line of business. He further explained that a high degree of technical and professional expertise makes a business highly profitable. According to Charlotte’s mother, since people who specialize in insurance are willing to face challenges, and are skilled in communication and management, they can earn good money. Leo’s mother thought that those skillful white collars engaged in manufacturing industry tend to get higher income. Grievous’s father said that he made his first fortune by doing trade.

在教育培训行业的周妈妈说他们是从三个方面来经营：教育培训费，课题研究费，服务费;吴妈妈介绍他们是通过课程或个性化服务赚钱，帮助人们缓解压力，认识自己，找回能量。

Elvis’s mother, who was in the line of education and training, told us that she managed and made profits through 3 channels: tuition for lectures and training, funds for research projects and charges for advisory service. Felicity’s mother explained that her company provided individualized services to help people ease pressure.

头轮各位爸妈的介绍就已经给我们开阔了解到这么多不同行业，和各行业赚钱的法宝。我们学生真是赚到了!

彭爸抛出更深层次的问题：同一个行业，什么人能赚钱，什么人赚不到钱?

Students benefited a lot from the first round of question and answers, which broadened our understanding of so many different industries and their secrets of making profits. Next, Edward Peng’s father raised a profound question: in the same industry, who can earn good money, who can’t?

吴妈妈从她的案例中发现，能赚到钱的人，心态积极，有赚到钱的信念，经过努力，一步步实现。在教育培训行业中，周妈妈举例介绍赚大钱，赚舒服钱与赚小钱的状况。

Felicity’s mother found out from her cases that those who earn good money adopt a positive attitude, have great faith in making money, and realize their dreams step by step through hard work. Elvis’ s mother introduced to us cases in which people in the line of education and training make a big, small and easy fortune respectively.

杨爸爸的话总结性很强：现在靠脑力劳动，卖想法，比如行业，赚钱空间大;还有，张妈妈也告诉我们，稀缺性及难替代性的员工，工资涨幅非常大。给了我们非常中肯建议，以后我们从事职业，要想有高收入，先想一想自己是否可被替代。

Grievous’s father arrived at a conclusion: Nowadays, industries which rely on intellectual work, like the consulting industry, have considerable potential for making profits. Besides, Leo Jiang’s mother told us those with scarce and irreplaceable skills tend to get a huge pay rise. They sincerely advised us that when we seek for high income in an industry in the future, we should first think about whether we can be replaced by others.

伍妈妈的保险行业中，赚钱最多的是精算师，带领团队能力的保险销售，及保险投资部门;龙爸爸从他容易赚钱的兽医医药方面，传授好赚钱的秘籍是垄断资源性，及知识的杂交，越杂交越有竞争性。很好的例子如苹果，因为苹果不仅拥有技术，还与美学杂交。是啊，苹果的颜值吸引了不少果粉呢。

Charlotte’s mother said that in insurance industry, the most profitable positions are actuaries, salespersons leading their teams, and insurance investment departments. Kaisa’s father said that in the industry of veterinary medicine, the secrets of making profits are the monopoly of resources, and the hybridization of knowledge, the more hybridized, the more competitive. A typical example is the Apple Inc. The success of Apple. Inc. owes much to the integration of technology and aesthetics. Indeed, thousands of Apple fans were attracted by the beauty of its products.

第三个问题，为我们将来就业找工作最想知道的，从家长们各行业来谈，想要招聘什么样的人?

Edward Peng’s father, the host, then asked his third question, which was also what the students most desperately want to find out when they apply for jobs in the future, ---- What kind of employees would you prefer to recruit in your own line of trade?

小编综合了下各位爸妈的总结。学历是门槛，知识是基础，人品是关键，各种能力是核心。我记下了这些关键词：专业，实干，忠诚，真诚，眼界，进取，积极，坚韧，创新，敏锐，沟通能力及解决问题能力。

The editors summarized their answers. Education background pays the admission; knowledge reserve lays the foundation; personal character is the key, while various skills make up core competence. I noted down these key words: professionalism, hard work, loyalty, faithfulness, sincerity, vision, entrepreneurial spirit, positiveness, perseverance, innovation, keenness, communicative and problem-solving skills.

当龙爸被问及对员工的要求时，他说：“我只有两个要求，一个是忠诚，能在公司危难时不离不弃去挽救它;一个是专业，做我们这行需要很强的专业知识，我们老一辈学习的东西在现在已经不够用了，需要年轻人带着新锐的知识来帮助公司进步。“

When asked about what requirements he expected his employees to fulfill, he said: “ I had only two for them. One is loyalty. An employee who is faithful to his company will try to save the company when it is in trouble or danger rather than abandon it. The other is professionalism. Our industry needs employees with strong professional expertise. As the older generation, we have found what we have learned can hardly be useful in dealing with new problems. Therefore, we hope younger generation will help the company develop and advance with their cutting-edge technology.

彭爸问了最后一个很有意思的问题：家长是否愿意你家孩子今后继续从事同样行业?

Finally, Edward Peng’s father asked a very interesting question: Would you want your own kids to follow your suit in the future?

各位爸妈都很民主，表示会尊重孩子自己选择。一代人有一代人的使命，适合就是的。

All the parents on the stage made a democratic decision, and indicated that they would pay respect to their kid’s choices because each generation has to accomplish their own mission, and the fittest is the best.

在最后的提问时间，同学们非常踊跃，提出了高质量问题, 让家长们感到惊艳。

谈“钱”说行业，实际上说的是“人”;作为未来行业人，我们相信宏润博源学校将来一定会出现某些行业的佼佼者。正如杨爸爸给同学们提出的约定：将来老爸老妈老了，我们为老爸老妈讲述我们行业的故事。

During Q&A session, the audience actively interacted with the parent representatives and brought up impressive questions.

While we talked about profits and industries, we talked about people. We believe students of SHBS, as future practitioners, will surely become outstanding and successful leaders in some industries. Grevious’s father asked for a favor from us students: When parents get old in the future, we should, in turn, tell them stories of our own industries.
