学校里的海棠花像雨一样洒下来。操场上打篮球,草坪上踢足球的同学们越来越多了。这是一年当中,各种运动盛行的好时机。这周的CAS家长大讲堂,上海宏润博源学校邀请了上海徐汇区康复医学科医学博士、主任医师、教授,硕士生导师,徐汇区领军人才张颖女士为大家普及运动健康的常识。
The crab-apple blossoms on campus poured down like rain in the breeze. More and more students have joined in playing soccer on the lawn. It's a good time of the year when students are doing all kinds of sports. The CAS session this week saw a parent’s lecture, given by Ms. Zhang Ying, MD, Chief Physician, Professor, Master's Supervisor and Xuhui District Leader of Rehabilitation Medicine, who was invited by our school to popularize the common knowledge on sports and health for everyone.
张女士走上讲台后就向大家抛出了一个问题:
同学发生了运动意外,是否可以搬动意外倒地的人?答案是“否”, 除非非常明确受伤的情况,且有足够的经验判断可以搬动。张医生以运动受伤倒地者被搬动后导致悲剧的案例,开始今天的运动健康讲座,我们被吸引住了。
运动中会有疼痛吗?当发现有疼痛,如何处理?
Upon stepping onto the stage, Ms Zhang raised a question to everyone: if a student falls down on the ground when doing sports, can we move him or her? The answer is "no" unless we are very clear about the injury and are experienced enough to decide that the injured one can be moved. Dr. Zhang began today's sports health lecture with a tragic case of someone who fell down while doing exercise and was moved, attracting our attention.
Do you feel painful while doing exercise? If so, how should you deal with your pain?
张医生告诉我们,运动过程发现有身体有疼痛要跟教练或指导老师沟通,不是每一项运动都适合任何人的;另外也要注意不执着于某单项运动,要做不同的运动。
Dr. Zhang told us that we need to talk to coaches or instructors if we feel painful while doing exercise. Not every kind of sport suits everyone fine. Beside, instead of holding onto a single sport, you should participate in diverse sports.
张医生以简洁明快的话语说:运动前要热身,运动后要拉伸。运动前要有足够的休息,运动时要补充水分。比如说,打篮球对关节的要求很高。比较常见的是膝盖前交叉的损伤。为了防止这些受伤的情况,选择合适的运动鞋是很重要的。
Doctor Zhang also said that before doing exercises, we need to warm up, and after doing exercise, we need to stretch ourselves. We should also get plenty of rest before doing exercise and drink plenty of water while doing exercise. For example, playing basketball strains our joints a lot. It is common for our knees’ ACL to get injured. In order to prevent these injuries, it is important to choose the right trainers.
在鞋的学问上,不仅是篮球鞋对于预防损伤有独特的设计,举重鞋会在深蹲时保护腿部,跑步鞋会加强爆发力,羽毛球鞋需要做减震。对于拇外翻的同学,应该选择鞋头宽的鞋,是可以穿拇指分指的袜子。
When it comes to the knowledge of shoes, basketball shoes have a unique design for injury prevention, weight lifting shoes will protect the legs while we are doing squats, running shoes will enhance explosive power, and badminton shoes absorb shock. As for students who suffer from hallux valgus, they should choose to wear shoes with wide toe caps, and they’d better wear thumb-split socks.
经张医生一说,忽然发现运动健康是这么具体细致,既离我们很近,又好像有点陌生,因为平时未必注意这些状况啊。
After hearing her advice and explanation, we suddenly realized that sports & health is a field of learning involving such specific and meticulous details, and that as close it is to us, it might seem a little strange because we usually neglect those details.
接着,张医生邀请了三位同学上台,让他们示现如何使用运动肌贴。一位同学在脚踝处,另一位在脚膝骨处、最后一位在手腕处分别被贴上肌贴,张医生给我们展示了肌贴的使用方法。
Then, Dr. Zhang invited 3 students to the stage and taught them how to use muscle strips. The first was attached to his ankle, the second was tied to his knee, and the third was put on his wrist. In this way, Dr. Zhang demonstrated the correct ways to use muscle strips to everyone present.
最后,张颖医生还给大家看了核心训练的视频。
Finally, Dr. Zhang also showed us some videos on core training.
运动健康讲座时间仅一个小时,感觉就像“刚开始”,我们开始注意到运动时的自我保护,我们的运动也做得更专业、肯定也更健康。
Her lecture lasted only an hour, but we felt as if we were coming to realize that we need to protect ourselves while doing exercise so that we would do our sports more professionally and healthily.
傍晚的运动跑又开始了。小编看过去,同学们跑步姿势也似乎特标准。
At dusk, some students started their jogging again. In my view, their running postures appeared to be especially standard.
