2019年12月13日下午，上海宏润博源学校模拟联合国(MUN)社团的十二位同学在麻老师的带领下到上海中学参加上海中学国际部与牛津大学共同举办的全国中学生模拟联合国大会。本次会议持续两天半，于12月15日下午结束。

On the afternoon of December 13th, 2019, twelve students from the Model United Nations (MUN) Club of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School, led by Miss Irene Ma, went to Shanghai High School to attend the National Model United Nations Conference for Middle School Students co-organized by Shanghai High School International Division and Oxford University. The conference lasted two and a half days and ended in the afternoon of 15 December.

我校的十二位同学被分配在联合国教科文组织(UNSECO)、安理会(UN Security Council)、外太空公司(UNOOSA)以及科学技术发展组织(UNSTDO)。同学们需要研究自己所代表的国家，就自己所在组织给定议题写出立场文件，并在会议上提出倡议，争取各国代表的支持。

Our students were assigned to the following organizations: UNSECO, the UN Security Council, UNOOSA and UNSTDO. Students needed to study the countries they represented, wrote a position paper on a given topic, and proposed their motions at the conference to win the support of other countries’ delegates.

全国中学生模拟联合国大会

各国代表都是有备而来，会议非常严肃，讨论也非常激烈，仿若真的联合国会议，各国代表在为自己国家的立场竭力斡旋。虽然我校模联社的同学大都是次参加这种类型的模拟联合国比赛，但整个团队也取得了不错的集体成绩，蔡晗啸同学取得了不错的个人成绩。会议结束后，大家在返程的车上复盘自己的收获以及之后如何做地更好。

Most delegates were well prepared and took the conference seriously. All delegates were trying their best to mediate for their own countries’ benefits. It was the first time for our students to take part in this conference, yet Sam Cai, founder of our MUN club earned an award for his wonderful performance, bringing some recognition to our team as well. On the bus back to school, we shared our reflections about this conference.
