每年九月初新学年正式开始之前，上海宏润博源学校的新生都会参加新生体验营。新同学通过体验营丰富的课程和活动安排，熟悉学校的环境、老师、课程，并且熟悉彼此，建立友谊，为正式开学做好准备。不过，开学后，全体同学返校，学生群体构成发生变化，能量也会变化，需要继续指导同学们相互融入，打造更新的气象。

Every year before the official start of the new school year in early September, all the freshmen of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School participate in an orientation camp, through which they can get familiar with the school environment, teachers and courses, get to know one another, make friends, and get ready for the coming school year. However, when all students return to school, the campus dynamics will change along with the composition change of students. Therefore, it is necessary to continue guiding the students to blend in and create a new and better atmosphere.

CAS活动

9月9日的CAS活动上，外方校长Chris从一系列提问开始，指导同学们探索自己的内心以及如何创建良好的校园环境。他分享的关键词有：社区、视角、矛盾冲突、不安全感、愤怒&憎恨、脆弱、沟通、信心、支持和主动性。

During the CAS session on September 9th, Foreign Principal Chris started with a series of questions to guide students to explore their own hearts and to create a good campus environment. His sharing included key words like: community, perspective, contradiction, insecurity, anger & resentment, vulnerability, communication, confidence, support, and initiative.

对自己身体百分百自信的请到台上来!

“在场的哪一位是对自己的身体百分百自信的吗?请到台上来。”无人上台。“在场的哪一位是对自己的智识百分百满意的吗?请到台上来。”无人上台，包含我们博学多才的老师们。“在场的哪一位是一直很开心，从没有难过或愤怒的时候的吗?请到台上来。”无人上台。“在场的哪一位觉得自己是有人爱的?请到台上来。”在场的老师和同学们全部上台。

"Is anyone here 100 per cent confident in his/her body? Please get on the stage." No one came up. "Is anyone here 100 per cent satisfied with his/her knowledge and wisdom? Please get on the stage." No one came up, including our knowledgeable teachers."Is anyone here happy all the time, never sad or angry? Please get on the stage." No one came up."Does anyone here feel loved? Please get on the stage." All the teachers and students present got on the stage.

都会有不安全感，有自己脆弱的一面!

Chris校长接着说，没有人是对自己百分百满意的，我们都会有不安全感，有自己脆弱的一面。正是因为我们相信有人信任我们，支持我们，爱着我们，我们才会对自己有自信，才会感到强大。因此，想让自己变得强大，我们需要给予他人支持、信任和爱，打造一个友爱的集体，让自己也收获支持、信任和爱。

No one is 100 percent satisfied with himself. We all have our insecurities and our vulnerabilities. It is because we believe that someone trusts us, supports us and loves us that we feel powerful and confident in ourselves. So to be strong, we need to give support, trust and love to others, to create a loving community, and to receive support, trust and love for ourselves.

信任和爱

每个人都有自己独特的成长背景、习惯和看法，大家意见相左是再正常不过的事情，肯定也会有摩擦。面对新的环境，新的面孔，我们的潜意识里面会本能地感到害怕，也会采取防御状态。因此，我们肯定会体验到恐惧、沮丧、愤怒、怨恨等负面情绪。青少年的生理和心理都还在发展中，容易产生强烈的情绪，并且倾向于将这种强烈的情绪发泄出来，无论是正面的还是负面的。所以，青少年的朋友圈状态也会比较会常见到一些夹杂着脏话的过激语言。

Everyone has their own unique background, habits and opinions. It is part of human for people to disagree with one another. When facing a new situation or a new face, we feel afraid and defensive subconsciously. As a result, we are bound to experience fear, frustration, anger, resentment, and other negative emotions. Teenagers are still developing both physically and psychologically. They tend to have strong emotions and tend to vent such strong emotions, whether positive or negative. Therefore, it is common to see some extreme language mixed with swear words in teenagers’ Wechat posts.

言辞过激的朋友圈的破坏力是很大的!

Chris校长建议孩子们出现负面情绪时，要找朋友或老师面对面沟通，解决问题;在通过发朋友圈释放自己负面情绪之前，先要醒查下这条朋友圈是否能给父母、老师或者自己未来的孩子看，如果不行，不要发，因为你在网上发布的任何言论都会永久地被记录在网络上。发出非常负面，言辞过激的朋友圈的破坏力是很大的，也是非常愚蠢的。

Principal Chris suggested that when students have negative emotions, they should talk to friends or teachers in person to solve problems. Before releasing their negative feelings through wechat posts, they should check if the posts can be shown to parents, teachers or their future children. If not, don't post, because anything you post online will be there forever. Such posts are very destructive and such acts are really stupid.

Chris校长还强调，在上海宏润博源学校，老师们关心爱护每一位同学的成长，任何威胁别的成员的言论或者行为都是会严肃处理的。只有共同创建相互支持信任、沟通的集体环境，我们每个人才能成长更快，走得更远。

Principal Chris also stressed that in Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan school, teachers care about the well-being of every student, and any remark or behavior that threatens another member will be dealt with seriously. Only by working together to create a community of mutual support, trust and effective communication can each of us grow faster and go further here.

最后Chris校长还分享了一句很有哲思的话：智慧是原谅自己的能力。
