2021年3月19日(星期五)早晨P&B上，上海宏润博源学校校务委员会对荣获2020-2021学年(上)“闻慧”奖学金的50名同学进行了表彰，奖励他们行为规范、自律自强、积极正气，贡献社区。同时，也希望借此塑造正气典型的榜样，引领学生的努力方向。借奖学金之力推动构建和谐、正气、温暖、有爱的社区，进而让学校和家长受益，让学生和老师受益。

During the morning P&B on Friday, March 19, 2021, SHBS Administration Board awarded the 50 students who won "Wen Hui" Scholarship in the first semester of 2020-2021 school year for their good behavior, self-discipline, self-motivation, positive spirit and contribution to the community. It is hoped that such recognition can help encourage more students to be role models and that it can promote the construction of a harmonious, healthy, warm and loving community to further benefit schools, parents, students, and teachers.

“闻慧”奖学金是什么?

“闻慧”奖学金由在校生家长匿名捐赠，一个学期授奖总人数为50人，每位获奖者将被授予1000元人民币作为奖励。“闻慧”之名由家长所命，倾注着该家长对学生成长的关怀。“闻慧”源于佛教“闻思修三慧”之说。闻，就是听闻;思，就是去思考、去了悟;修，就是在现实中去体验、去实践。家长希望学生在校接受老师的教导，然后主动去思考，亲身去实践。世界上任何一门学问都离不开“闻、思、修”，只有践履这三步才能开发自我智慧。故此，该奖学金更侧重于学生的德行，较之成绩更看重学生的课堂表现和学习态度。

"Wen Hui" Scholarship is donated anonymously by one parent of our current students. Each of the 50 scholarship winners will be awarded 1,000 RMB. Given by the parents to show their care for the growth of the students, the name “Wen Hui” originates from Buddhism "Listen, think, and practice, and then you will get Hui, wisdom". To hear is to observe and absorb; to think is to see and understand the patterns underlying; to practice is to experience and grow in reality. Parents hope that students can hear the guidance of teachers at school, and then take the initiative to think and practice. Any type of wisdom has to be achieved through "listening, thinking, and practicing.” Only through these three steps can we develop our own wisdom. Therefore, this scholarship focuses more on the students' morality and attitude towards learning, rather than their academic performance.

评选的过程非常严格、异常谨慎，遵循公平、公正、公开的原则，以服务型义工数、惩罚性义工数、生活区考核分数、为贡献社区的行为和次数等量化数据为依托，同时结合任课教师的评价和推荐等质化材料为辅助。确保名实相符、德位相配，经得起推敲、受得住考验，获奖者切实成为同学们钦羡的榜样、弘扬正气的表率。评选标准与选拔过程及时向全校师生通报，并将候选人名单在校内公示一周，接受全校监督，确认无异议后形成最终名单并向全社会公示。至此，完成了“闻慧”奖学金的评选工作。

The selection process is very strict and extremely meticulous, following the principles of fairness, justice, and openness, relying on quantitative data such as the number of service hours, the number of punishment hours, the points accumulated in the dorm, the number of behaviors and times contributing to the community, and qualitative data such as teacher's evaluation and recommendation. Thus, it is ensured that the students do deserve the recognition. The criteria and process of the selection are all shared with all teachers and students of the school, and the candidate list shall be published on campus for a week for the supervision of the school before it is finalized and officially publicized. Only then, the selection of "Wen Hui" scholarship is officially completed.

家长匿名捐赠该奖学金是对我校办学质量和社会责任感的极大肯定，也是激励我们工作精益求精的动力。学校会进一步优化评选流程、精细评选标准、放大奖学金的影响力和带动力，并以此为契机来推动学生自律性的提高和社区建设的完善。

The anonymous donation of the scholarship by parents is a great recognition of our school as well as a motivation for us to strive for perfection in our work. SHBS will further optimize the selection process, refine the selection criteria, enhance the influence of the scholarship, and take this opportunity to promote the improvement of students' self-discipline and the improvement of our community construction.
