2019年上海宏润博源学校教师培训圆满落幕

上海宏润博源学校2019-2020学年以全体教师培训会的方式拉开了帷幕,凉爽宽敞的舞蹈教室 “群贤毕至”,新鲜血液的加入进一步优化了教师队伍的能力结构,极高的稳定性和优质的队伍水平是新学年教学质量跃升的基础保障,推动学校进入全新的发展轨道。

The 2019-2020 academic year for SHBS began with faculty training in the spacious and cool dancing classroom. Many talented teachers have joined our community, which is expected to further optimize teachers’ expertise. High stability and high quality of the teaching staff serve to enhance the teaching quality for the new academic year and promote our school’s new development.

8月21日的培训以自我介绍开场,很多老师都分享了自己的假期趣闻,有的老师去了日本、有的带学生夏令营去了美国、有的去了香港、有的进行了培训深造、有的坚守岗位,通过简短的介绍,一位位个性鲜活的老师形象清晰而明显。通过刘刘校长的回顾,大家感慨于很多老师的勤劳与付出,虽然在假期,但学校仍在运转,作为四个夏令营的营地,我们为其提供了细致而周到的服务;作为参访目的校,我们接待若干国内外名校及教育同行界的来访,交流教育思想、分享办学经验、增加互信、加深友谊。市场部及部分中外教持续招生,确保新学年更充足的优质生源,老师们以优质的工作擦亮着学校的品牌。下午开始进行以教研组为单位的教研活动,理科组、英语组、中文组分别进行了学期教学目标、教学模块、学生分析、教学资料准备、教学任务分工等统合工作,确保学期教学工作能有序而高效地展开。教学工作培训结束后紧接着进行了有趣的“蒙眼寻途”、“群力支架”等情境活动,在欢声笑语中,在CHRIS校长的启发总结下,凭借同伴之间的信任与互助,大家完成了任务,加深了了解,增加了友谊,团队凝聚力大大提高。

On August 21st, the training began with self-introduction. Many teachers shared their own interesting experiences during the summer vacation: some travelled to Japan or HK, some took students to summer camp in the USA, some furthered studies by receiving training, and others stuck to their posts. Each teacher’s distinctive personality was clearly seen via brief introduction. Liu liu, vice principal, reviewed what was going on campus during the summer vacation. After hearing what she said, we were impressed by many colleagues’ hard work and dedication. Our school kept running though it was summer vacation, serving as the campsite for 4 summer camps while providing meticulous care and thoughtful service for them. Our school also received a number of visitors from famous schools at home and abroad as well as educational peers. During their stay, we strengthened mutual trust and friendship by exchanging views and sharing experience in running schools. The Marketing Department as well as some Chinese and foreign staff have been working hard to recruit new students to ensure that we have adequate and quality students. In the afternoon, faculty members were divided into different teaching and research groups and activities were conducted within each group. Science group, English group and Chinese group respectively discussed their teaching goals, teaching modules, analyzed different students, prepared teaching materials and divided teaching tasks, etc., so that we would be able to teach orderly and efficiently in the new semester. The faculty training was followed by interesting situational activities such as "finding the way blindfolded" and "building with spaghetti". Inspired by principal Chris and talking in laughter, we completed the tasks by helping and trusting each other, thus promoting understanding and friendship among colleagues, and greatly improving our team’s cohesion.

天培训的充实而有趣,各位老师对于学校、团队的领悟有所加深,后两天的培训则将侧重点转移到具体工作和新学年的工作质量上。教务处就“教师手册”进行讲解,承接CHRIS校长的“教师边界”的培训进一步清晰新学年教学工作的原则和要求。学生处就“学生手册”及新学年工作计划要点进行讲解,引导班主任老师明确新学年工作质量标准。陈劲老师就“校宝”系统的使用对所有老师进行技能培训,为开学后的统计与登分工作做技术铺垫。学生处就“体验营”工作进行了安排和部署,明确所有老师的工作职责,并叮嘱大家认真准备。全体教师会议结束后,班主任及生活老师继续就体验营工作细节及质量要求做更加细致的研讨和分工,对自己提出了更高的工作质量标准。8月21日下午的赛艇码头启用仪式暨赛艇体验活动是最令中外教师期待的了。在理论培训后,大家迫不及待地在教练的指导下抬艇下水,一条艇上的四个或八个人如何团结默契、分工协作、保持平衡、动静结合,是对团队协作能力的极大考验,也是非常生动的团队凝聚力培训。

Thanks to the first day’s training, every teacher came to understand our school and our team better. For the following 2 days, the focus was shifted to the specific jobs and the quality of performance in the new academic year. Following the lecture on “teachers’ boundaries” given by Principal Chris, the academic affairs office explained the "teachers’ handbook" in detail, hoping to further clarify the guidelines and requirements for the new academic year. The student affairs office explained the "students’ handbook" and the key points in the plan for the new academic year, making homeroom teachers clear about the quality standards. Vice principal Jin trained all teachers on how to use "xiaobao" system, making technical preparations for the statistics of grades in the new semester. The students’ affairs office announced the arrangements for the orientation camp and made sure that each teacher knew his or her own responsibility for the camp. The opening ceremony of the rowing dock and rowing experience on the afternoon of August 21st was the most anticipated event for both Chinese and foreign teachers. After the theoretical training, we couldn't wait to lift the boats and put them into the water under the guidance of the coach. How the four or eight people in the same boat can work together in tacit coordination, play their different roles, and keep balance put their teamwork spirit to great test, and also served to improve team cohesion.

为期三天的培训很快结束了,新老教师在活动中加快融合,所有老师在深刻的体验中加深对团队、对教育的感悟,在一项项细致的工作部署中明确新学期工作的标准、计划和要求。相信在全体教师的通力协作下,新学年学校的发展会更快,质量会更高。Bowen总校长用“生长”这个关键词,给我们提出了希望和鞭策。相信学校的发展会给每个人更大的成长空间,而每个人的成长将助力学校的发展,相辅相成,缺一不可。

Though the three-day training soon came to an end, many teachers, old and new have become friends. All teachers came to understand the team and education better through this instructive training program, and made sure of the standards, plans and requirements for the new semester. I believe, by working hard together, our school will make faster and greater progress in the new academic year. Principal Bowen urged all of us on with the key word "growth". I believe that the development of the school will benefit everyone by providing more room for growth, and in turn, everyone's growth will boost the development of our school, which forms a complementary and indispensable process.
