七月的上海异常舒适宜人，往年的似火骄阳现如今被连绵的雨季抢了风头，洗去了人们夏季的躁动。就在这样的一个夏天，我们迎来了上海宏润博源学校的夏校。我校夏校不同于普通的只以学术为中心的夏校。为了丰富同学们的夏校生活，在每日连续7小时的课程之外，还专门设计了每日晨会ANCHOR(Attention-News -Concerns-Highlights-Observation-Reading)时间。

In such an exceptionally cool summer, we started SHBS summer school. Unlike other summer schools focusing only on academics, our school specially designed daily briefings-- ANCHOR (Attention, News, Concerns, Highlights, Observation, and Reading) session in addition to the daily 7 hours of classes so as to enrich the students’ learning experience.

每日晨会的目的之一是让同学们在欢声笑语中开始夏校一天的学习。在过去的两周时间里，参与主持每日晨会的不仅有校长，有老师还有我们的学生。在这段时间里，每个人都可以成为Leader of the Day，没有老师和学生身份上的区别，只有求学路上的同行者。

One of the purposes of devising the daily ANCHOR session is to allow students to start their summer school day with sharing and joy. For the past two weeks, not only the principal but also the teachers and students have been given the opportunities to host the ANCHOR session. During this session, everyone could be the Leader of the Day, no matter if he or she was a teacher or a student, only sharers and pursuers of knowledge here.

天的晨会时间Chris校长带领同学们相互认识--破冰。同学们介绍中英文名字和自己最喜欢的冰激凌口味，经过一大圈的介绍，同学们对每个人的名字虽有些了解却仍然很难全部记住。这时Chris校长问了一句话，谁可以把所有同学的名字全部叫出?大家面面相觑，太难了!这时，视每一个学生为宝贝，每一个申请入读的学生都要一一面试的刘校长勇敢的举起了手，大家纷纷投来了佩服的眼光。

On the first morning, Principal Chris had the students get to know each other, in other words, break the ice. The students told each other their Chinese and English names and their favorite flavor of ice cream. After hearing everyone’s name during a long introduction, they still couldn't remember all of them. At this moment, Principal Chris asked, “who can call out all the students' names?” Everyone looked at each other, frustrated. At this time, Principal Liu, who interviewed every student applying for our school, raised her hand so bravely and confidently as to leave the rest of us in admiration of her.

为了让同学们相互之间尽快的熟悉，Chris校长请在场的所有人，根据出生月份和日期从1月1日到12月31日排序。指令下达，教室里就沸腾起来。过了好半天，大家终于坐定。以为自己都选择好了正确的位置，谁知在报生日的时候，还是有几位找错位置的，引得全场哄堂大笑。本来还有些拘束的女生都忍不住捂着嘴巴笑，就在这样的欢声笑语中大家相互熟悉起来。也感谢Chris校长，我们得知了7月份生日的同学，并给这些同学们过了一个特殊的生日会。

In order to make the students familiar with each other as soon as possible, Principal Chris asked all of them to line up according to the date of birth from January 1 to December 31. Once the instruction was made, students became wild with joy. After a while, everyone finally settled down. Some thought they had chosen the right position, but when they reported their birthdays, a few of them chose the wrong position, making all burst into laughter. Though some timid girls could not help but cover their mouths when laughing, they got familiar with each other by talking and laughing. Thanks also to Principal Chris, we learned about the students whose birthday was in July and held a special birthday party for them.

每天早上LeaderoftheDay分别设计了清晨冥想心中默默列举自己昨日的收获，举实例向身边的同学，朋友亦或老师表达感恩，用积极正向的最高级形容词来描述你什么的同伴等，让美好的一天在早晨满满的正能量下开启!

Every morning, Leader of the Day required students to do a silent meditation on our gains of yesterday , give examples to express gratitude to classmates, friends or teachers around us, and use positive superlative adjectives to describe our companions, etc., so that a wonderful day can be started with the help of positive energy in the morning!

Highlight环节，张庭珲同学的灵动的手指给大家带了一场音乐盛宴，大家陶醉在这美妙的钢琴曲中，久久难以回神。汪洁激情四射的舞步以及她情不自禁的随舞蹈而喊出的节奏看得全场掌声不断。男生活老师王万友为大家表演了淳朴流畅的黄梅戏，浓郁的生活气息感染了在座的每一位师生。也有晨会主持给大家带来儿时的小游戏，如贴锅饼，倍数游戏，击鼓传花等，让同学们感受到非电子的游戏也可以很有趣，看看同学们的笑脸就知道了!

During the Highlight part, Peter Zhang enchanted us with his melodious piano solo. Jenny Wang brought us her passionate dance. Mr. Wang, one of the dorm room parents, presented us with his Huangmei opera. Some morning hosts amused us with their childhood small games, such as sticky pancake, multiple games, drums and flowers, making us know that traditional games could be just as interesting. Just look at the smiling or laughing on the students' faces.

晨会的最后一个环节是阅读环节，同学们可以从图书馆选择英文读物，并轮流分享他们的阅读收获。从天开始每天早上都由不同的同学来分享，每位同学都有站在中心为大家阅读的机会。这个环节最令人记忆深刻的是钱禹同学和姚子康同学关于股票的分享，他们对股票是那么的着迷，用通俗易懂的语言向大家解释了晦涩难懂的股票词汇。郝羽彤和孙汇清同学为大家分享了哈利波特里的一段情节，她们声情并茂的阅读把同学们带到了哈利波特魔法学校的现场。

The last part of the morning session was reading. Students could choose English books from the library and take turns to share what they have learned from the reading. From the first day, each student had the opportunity to stand in the center and read for everyone.The most impressive part was the sharing of stocks by Qian Yu and Yao Zikang. They were so fascinated by stocks that they explained the obscure stock words to everyone in plain language. Hao Yutong and Sun Huiqing shared a plot from Harry Potter for everyone, and they read the story with such emotional voice and rich feelings that we felt as if we were brought to the scene of the Harry Potter School of witchcraft and wizarkind.

随着夏校接近尾声，同学们相互之间已经建立起了深厚的友谊。最后的心形卡片留言承载了同学们对这段时光的美好记忆。

By the time the summer school drew to a close, the students had established deep friendship with each other. The heart-shaped card messages proved the students' sweet memories of the summer school.
