2018年12月17日下午，上海宏润博源学校cas时间。礼堂里，2018学生场器乐比赛正式拉开序幕。参赛的表演器乐有吉他、电吉他、架子鼓和钢琴类。参赛选手跨四个年级，各班几乎都有节目参加比赛。校园器乐赛和器乐观摩，不仅是台上学生的才艺秀，更是台下学风的大检阅。

During the CAS session on December 17th, the musical instrument competition among the students was going on at the school auditorium. The instruments played included guitar, drum and piano. Competitors from 4 different grades took part in the competition, and almost every class contributed a program to the contest.

张怡凡的一曲钢琴演奏拉开比赛的序幕，只见她的十指或急或缓，时而如清风在键上一滑而去;间或，又如老者的背影稳稳地前行中。叮叮当当，那琴音忽亮忽沉，一指一键，却生出无数旋律。

The competition began with Anna’s piano solo. As she was hitting the keyboard with her fingers, a melody with varying pitches echoed all over the auditorium.

徐铭阳和李晓璇也分别献艺钢琴曲。成熟度各有不同，琴音却格外令人赏心悦目。

Next Willy and Katherine also presented their piano solos. Although their playing indicated different degrees of proficiency, their solos were both melodious and fluent.

在英语歌曲大赛之后名声鹊起的晓乐同学今天再次走上舞台。她给我们带来的是架子鼓表演。只见她沉着地调整鼓的位置，然后，双臂挥舞，鼓棒舞动，咚咚咚，锵锵锵，鼓槌在音鼓、吊镲、节奏镲之间变换节奏，好激昂，好强烈。不愧是晓乐，自信满满，手下的节奏要急是急，要重是重，一忽儿，又稳稳平缓落下。

Then Giant presented to us her drum show. We could see her calmly arrange the positions of the drums and wave her arms and drumstick in the air, full of confidence.

王志铫同学一边说“自己是被拉来的”，一边却马上入境，神情专注，顺利完成曲目。

Although saying he was persuaded to perform, Jack Wang entered his role quickly once he got on the stage.

相比安哲男前半部分舒缓后半部分明快的吉它演奏，普周琦的演奏令人遐想于欧洲古典式小街，徜徉于咖吧，透过玻璃窗，见着里面热热闹闹的客人。两位吉他手，让我们陶然，醉然，享受期间。

器乐比赛

The first part of Jackie's solo was slow and soothing and then became bright and fast-paced. Jerry's electric guitar solo reminded the audience of classic European street caffee. We were enchanted by what both guitar players presented to us.

欣赏乐器表演大餐，同时也是考察台下观众们“功夫”。起初，孩子们赏乐如听流行曲，发出交头接耳的品评声，Mr. Beau站起身，朝观众席说，太粗鲁了!怎么不尊重台上学生的努力!立刻学生们安静下来。叫人暗暗叫好：不仅是一场器乐赛的圆满，更是我们教会学生们尊重、自尊的行为规范，比起坐在课堂里讲述道理，教育的过程不就是这样浑然天成的吗!

The competition also put audience’s manners to test. It not only concluded a performance of music played with various instruments but also provided a good opportunity for etiquette education, which taught students respect for others as well as for themselves. Such real experience is absolutely far more effective than preaching in classroom.
