2019年3月6日，哈希·扎西多杰老师应邀来到上海宏润博源学校，进行了“与更多的生命链接”主题演讲。扎多老师是电影《可可西里》中人物原型之一，是著名的环保人士。他从1992年开始追随他老师索南达杰致力于藏羚羊保护工作。1994年他的老师不幸被偷猎者夺去了生命。之后，他继承老师的遗志，一直致力于环保事业。

On March 6th, Mr. Hashi ·Zashi Dorje (Mr. Zhaduo), a famous environmentalist as well as an archetypal character in the film Mountain Patrol, or Ke Ke Xi Li, visited our school upon invitation and delivered a speech themed Connect with More Livesto our students. Mr. Zhaduo has been following Mr. Suonan Dajie, his teacher, dedicated to the cause of protecting Tibetan antelopes since 1992. Unfortunately, his teacher was killed by a poacher in 1994. Ever since his teacher died, he has been carrying on his will, and has been devoted to the cause of environmental protection.

大讲堂

在演讲中，扎多老师介绍了家乡丰富多样的生物。他认为，每个生物都会与周遭的其它生物建立生命关系，而人与动物之间应建立互助而不互扰的生命关系。他举例描述了“天葬”的情形，还讲述了老僧人圆寂的故事：双目失明后，仍每天把面包分一半给阳台上的鸟儿，把一楼的庭院留给动物们;而动物们一直守着他的身边，直到他气息中止。

In his speech, Mr. Zhaduo introduced to us a wide variety of wildlife in his hometown. He claims that every creature establishes links with other creatures around it, and that humans and animals should live in harmony with each other, helping each other rather than interfering with each other. He described the celestial funeral as an example, and he also told us the touching story of an old monk in the last few days of his life: after both eyes went blind, he still kept sharing half of his bread with birds perching on his balcony everyday, and he still left his courtyard on the ground floor to animals as their habitat. In return for his kindness, those animals he cared for stayed closely around him until he passed away.

在互动环节，有学生问：“您在保护藏羚羊的过程中曾想过放弃吗?”扎多老师亲切地笑道：“老师死后，我曾经发誓打死也不去那个地方了，我也怕死。当时那边的偷猎者都是拿着冲锋枪的，而我们只有一些从偷猎者那里截获的武器。因为这些武器我们还被带到公安局呢。但是在索南达杰死后，人们需要有一个人能接替他。我和我的老师是生与死的关系，也是一种生命的链接。”

When it was time for our students to interact with Mr. Zhaduo, one student asked, “Have you ever thought about giving up in the past years dedicated to protecting the Tibetan antelopes?” Mr. Zhaduo answered with an amiable smile, “After my teacher died, I once swore that I would never go there again, for I also feared to be killed. At that time, poachers there were all armed with sub-machine guns, while we were only equipped with a few inferior weapons captured from those poachers. We were even taken to the police station just because we possessed those captured weapons. However, after my teacher died, we needed a man who could take over what he had been doing. My teacher and I had established a link which would go beyond life and death and which could also be viewed as a kind of life link between us.”

合影留恋

扎多老师的演讲，风趣幽默富含哲理。演讲完，不少同学围着他索要方式，久久不愿离去。扎多老师不仅给同学们描绘了一幅幅生机勃勃的大自然景象，让同学们对藏区那些神奇生命有了新的了解，也启发了同学们对“与更多生命的链接”的思考。其实这本身也是一种生命的链接。

Mr. Zhaduo gave us a humorous, instructive and enlightening speech. When the lecture was over, a lot of students crowded around him for a long time, asking for his contact information. Mr. Zhaduo not only depicted vigorous nature for us, but also gave us a new understanding of those magical wildlife in the Tibet areas, encouraging students to think more about the theme “Connect with More Life.”Mr. Zhaduo’s sharing with our students itself is also establishing a sort of link between lives.

Those who accompanied Mr. Zhaduo on this visit were Miss BoLei, his wife and professor Tao, another famous environmentalist and also the founder of the Geography Department of Shanghai Normal University.
