从第10周开始，上海宏润博源学校早晨P&B时间，在班主任的带领下，以⾏政班为单位，展开高中升学规划演讲。⼗年级(1)班的同学积极准备，在迎接清晨的那一缕阳光里，自信而有条理地站上讲台，讲述高中三年规划，及对未来专业方向的憧憬。他们的演讲各有特⾊，但相同的是，他们在演讲时，都表现出他们对未来有清晰的认知和坚定的信念。

In the 10th week, led by Joanna Li, our homeroom teacher, G10.1 students started to share their college application planning in class. Fully prepared for this event and confidently standing on the platform in the morning sunshine, my classmates began sharing their well-organized plans for the coming 3-year high school life as well as their favorite future majors in college. Each speech had its own distinctive features, but what was similar was that they showed their clear understanding of and strong faith in their future.

顾之吉同学的演讲用全英⽂完成，在清楚表达自己计划的同时，还加入了幽默色彩，演讲生动有趣。这样的方式既让她的演讲变得独一⽆二，更是锻炼了自⼰的英语口语⽔平，可谓一举多得。

Gracy Gu presented her speech all in English. She clearly expressed her plans in a humorous and vivid way, making her presentation unique and practising her speaking skills at the same time.

因此，顾同学的全英文演讲，受到全班同学的一致好评，最终也被推荐到了更大的舞台上：作为优秀演说，在全校同学面前展示。

As a result, her presentation was well received and was recommended as an excellent speech to present to a wider audience, i.e., the whole school.

金依澜同学有着多种多样的爱好，她是学校PI艺术双优计划下的一名优秀学生，也是学校学生会文艺部的重要成员。有着和大多数同学不同方向的她，在演讲中分享了自⼰与众不同的个⼈规划。

Elaine Jin has a wide variety of hobbies, and she is an excellent student under our PI Art program and also an active member of the Art & Show Dept. of the Students Union. Different from most of our classmates, she shared her unique plans with us.

她计划在⼗一年级分出精⼒完成自己的艺术作品集，这也将作为她在大学申请中的一大闪光点。

She planned to set aside part of her time and efforts to finish her art portfolio, which, hopefully, would boost her college application process.

升学规划

徐铭阳同学在全班同学中做到了。他在演讲中自信的说出了自己的梦想大学：美国南加州大学。这个目标能够鞭策他不断向前，在今后的学习中更有规划，做到更好。他演讲时，巡视的Bowen 校长在教室一侧认真聆听，在给予徐铭阳肯定的同时也指出了他规划中小小的不足。Bowen校⻓强调，在冲刺学年(也就是申请学年) 的⾼GPA已经不具有竞争性，原因是早在学期就会结束EA&ED, 此时追求GPA的意义已经不大。GPA应该在前两学年争取达到最高，并且一直保持优秀，最后一年可以在GPA稳定的情况下，更多在推荐信以及个⼈人简述上多下功夫。 Willy同学在演讲后迅速调整了自己的规划。

Willy Xu shared with us his dream university: University of Southern California(UAC). This goal will motivate him to make greater progress. Principal Bowen happened to drop by our class during Willy’s presentation. After listening attentively to his speech, Bowen spoke highly of Willy’s presentation, but he also pointed out some shortcomings of his plan. Bowen emphasized that GPA won’t count as much in the final academic year,or the application year as it does in the years before because it will no longer play a significant role after submitting all the grades and references in the EA&ED (Early Application & Early Decision) at the end of first semester of grade 12. Students should try their best to achieve the highest GPA during the first 2 academic years and keep up good work till the last year. In the meantime, more efforts should be put into writing recommendation letters and preparing personal statements.Thanks to Bowen’s suggestions, Willy quickly adjusted his plans.

升学规划演讲

此次三年计划宣讲活动让每一位宏润博源的学子深深地感受到：原来时间已经迫在眉睫。好的规划意味着完美的准备，相信每一位同 学都能在此次演讲后更加有规划、更加努⼒的走好属于自己的路，相信他们能在三年后完成自己的规划，成为的自己。

This planning presentation helped us realize that time flies and the application process is imminent and that good planning means perfect preparation. I believe that inspired by this presentation, each student will do better as scheduled and make their dreams come true in 3 years’ time.

最后，借用10年级1班班主任李⽼师的签名：不积跬步，无以至千⾥。今天的成功源于昨天的努⼒，而明天的成功来自今天的努力。

Finally, I want to end this article with a Chinese saying loved by our homeroom teacher: A thousand-mile journey takes every step. No pains, no gains.
