2018年10月22日下午，上海宏润博源学校PI艺术部迎来了个Speaker，来自法国的研究员Olivia Ballet在学校艺术楼二楼阅览室给PI艺术部的学生做了一次关于她在静安雕塑公园的艺术调查报告。学校其他的学生同时也被邀请参加了这一次特别的艺术公开课。

On the afternoon of October 22nd, Hongrun Boyuan PI Art Department welcomed their first Speaker——The French researcher Olivia Ballet who gave a lecture to the students of PI Art Department about her art research of Jingan Sculpture Park in the reading room on the second floor of the school art building. The other students in the school were also invited to participate in this special art open class.

Olive Ballet是一位24岁的法国新锐室内设计师。 她目前正在上海的公共空间从事艺术教育和艺术创作。她曾经完成过很多成功的设计作品，包括著名笔记本品牌Moleskine的概念店，15人合作办公区创意，Nike Air周年庆的展示间等等。

Olivia Ballet is a 24-year-old French interior designer. Now she is working on art education and creation in public space in Shanghai.She has deisigned many successful products.including creating a concept store for Moleskine, the famous notebook brand， a creative coworking space for 15 people，a showroom for the Nike Air Max anniversary

这次，她给学生们展示的是她在静安雕塑公园的调查研究以及对于如何让艺术成为大众可接触文化的思考。

This time, she showed the students her research in Jing'an Sculpture Park and her thoughts on how to make art a popular culture.

经过数据研究，Olivia发现上海的艺术馆近两年增长迅猛，接着她从政治，历史，经济3个方面分析了为什么上海艺术馆的数量增长如此之多。在实地调研了这些艺术馆之后，经过可行性分析，她选择了静安雕塑公园作为研究对象。

After data analysis, Olivia found that the art gallery in Shanghai has grown rapidly in the past two years. Then she analyzed why the number of Shanghai art galleries has increased so much in terms of politics, history and economy. After investigating these art galleries in the field and feasibility analysis, she chose Jing'an Sculpture Park as her research object.

通过实地考察，网络调研，面对面采访，数据分析等研究方法，她总结出静安雕塑公园和普通博物馆、公园的不同。优势：1.艺术雕塑的展现 2.对社区的教育意义; 劣势：缺少解读。她指出，没有对艺术作品的解读就没有大众理解，而大众对于作品的理解是艺术存在的价值。对于艺术理解，她也做了一些研究，得出结论：艺术理解需要激发受众好奇心，让他们问自己问题，并主动分析。

Through field research, online research, face-to-face interviews, data analysis and other research methods, she concluded the difference between Jing'an Sculpture Park and ordinary museums and parks.

Advantages: 1. The presence of sculpture 2. The notion of education;

Disadvantages: Big lack of mediations.

She pointed out that without the mediations of art, there is no public understanding, and the public's understanding of works is the key value of art existence. She also did some research on artistic understanding. She concluded that artistic understanding needs to inspire the curiosity of the audience, let them ask questions and actively analyze questions.

艺术空开课

对于静安雕塑公园的研究同时引申出了关于艺术教育的话题。经过调研，她发现私立学校的艺术课程普遍比公立学校时间长，科目多，系统完整。而艺术的好处不胜枚举，主要有以下三点：

艺术是一个自由玩耍的东西，是一个打破社会各个阶层的活动

对于学习理科很有帮助，因为它锻炼人的创造性思维，让人喜欢从不同角度思考问题

对于学术写作同样很有帮助，因为它可以锻炼人的批判性思考的能力，并且让人学会分析和解释

The study of Jing'an Sculpture Park also attracted a topic about art education. After investigation, she found that the art courses of private schools are generally longer, more diverse, more systematic than public schools. The benefits of art are endless, and there are three main points:

Art is a free choice of learning and an activity that close gaps between socioeconomic groups.

It is very helpful for studying science because it trains people's creative thinking and encourages people to think from different angles.

It is also very helpful for academic writing because it can train people's critical thinking ability and let people learn to analyze and explain.
