2018年10月29日下午，宏润集团董事长郑宏舫，总经理尹芳达，副总经理何秀永一行到上海宏润博源学校视察。

On the afternoon of October 29th, President of Hongrun Construction Group Zheng Hongfang, General Manager Yin Fangda, and Deputy General Manager He Xiuyong came to visit our campus.

外方校长Christopher Moses首先致欢迎辞。他感谢宏润建设集团的支持，建设了如此美丽的校园给到老师们;感谢董事会的信任，让我们来经营这个学校;感谢家长信任把孩子交到了这里。

Our Foreign Principal Christopher Moses first delivered a welcome speech, in which he extended his thanks to Hongrun Construction Group for their support in building such a beautiful school for our teachers, to the school board members for trusting us in operating this school, and to the parents for entrusting their kids to our school.

接下来郑董事长发表讲话。他表示今天的到来心情非常激动，感到有如此优秀的团队，不容易;有优秀的学生，不容易;学校氛围有着浓厚的教育气息，不容易。当下宏润建设集团既然走出了这一步，就一定会让这一步走好。

Next, President Zheng made his speech, in which he said that he felt extremely excited about having such an outstanding team, such excellent students and such a strong academic atmosphere in the school. He promised that since the Hongrun Group has taken steps to set up this school, they will see to it that it is run properly.

全体老师会面

郑董事长提到：刚刚和学生交流，了解到学生们志存高远，他听到有学生希望进入麻省理工学院。“我们一定要把学生培养好，让他们想去麻校就去麻校，想考什么地方就去什么地方嘛”，郑董事长幽默诙谐的话语说得大家笑起来。

After talking with students, President Zheng learned that some of them had big dreams and aimed high. For example, one of them was looking forward to entering MIT. So he said to the teachers, “we must exert ourselves to help them realize their dreams so that they will go to whichever ideal universities or colleges they like.” He spoke in such a humorous way that all those present were amused.

随后，中外老师们畅所欲言。外教们对于能够来到这样一所学校感到非常高兴并愿意为之付出自己的努力。外教Bonta博士说到，次来，这里地方很好，发展会很好。表示要在这里一直工作下去。外教Justin表达了对学校无比的喜爱，他想念女儿，但他现在要把这里的孩子当成了自己的孩子。英语老师Beau提到，他曾到过3个国家的4所国际学校。到了这里，他感到，这是一所真正要做教育的学校，他觉得自己做了一个无比正确的决定。

Later, both Chinese and foreign faculty members poured out their views. Foreign teachers agreed that it was a pleasure to come to this school and that they were happy to work hard for it. Dr. Bonta said that it was the first time that he had been at such a nice place here, and he believed it would be promising. Justin Dalley, another foreign teacher voiced his deep affection for our school and would like to work here on a long-term basis. He added that much as he had been missing his daughters, he would be glad to treat kids here as his own. Mr. Beau, one of the English teachers, said that having been to 3 countries and having compared with 4 different international schools where he had worked at, he felt that our school was the one which was really committed to the educational cause, and fortunately he was happy that he made a right decision to come and work here.

郑董事长表示，宏润建设集团非常清楚教育行业的特点并让做教育的人放开手脚做真正的教育。

President Zheng said that Hongrun Construction Group was fully aware of the characteristics of the educational industry, so they wouldn’t make those educators feel restricted while they were pursuing their real cause.

刘刘校长补充道：中、外教师都非常愿意随时为我们的学生提供帮助。我们的Bonta，作为康奈尔大学的语言学博士，利用课余时间教我们的一位语言能力极强的同学修习梵语。

Vice Principal Miss Liu Liu added that both our Chinese and foreign teachers were ready to help our students at any time. Mr. Bonta, a PhD in linguistics from Cornell University, volunteered to teach one of our top students Sanskrit in his spare time.

中教老师也纷纷做了发言。杨洲笛老师说到，他来到我们学校，就被学生的认真，天赋、对学习热爱以及智力水平给“震到了”，对此他非常高兴并表示一定要把这些学生的潜力发掘出来。王伟老师则认为我们学校有着非常好的环境，自然和人文环境。

Chinese teachers also had their say. Mr. Michael Yang commented that on giving his first class, he was amazed at our students’ seriousness, talents, diligence and intelligence. He was pleased with them and would try his best to tap their full potentials. Mr. Tony Wang praised our school for its good environment in which people live in harmony with nature.

最后，刘刘校长总结：目前为止，家长对我们每一位老师的评价都很好很正面。

In the end, Vice General Principal Liuliu said that so far all of our faculty members are getting positive feedbacks from parents and students.

When the meeting was over, the visiting school board members, all faculty members and student representatives took a group photo.

会议结束，董事长一行到学校食堂进晚餐。恰逢今日学校举行万圣节活动，厨房推出了非常有趣的万圣节特餐。用王伟老师的发言总结：我们上海宏润博源学校“聚人”“聚才”“聚智”，——我们做的是“聚气!”

After the photo, our visiting school board members had dinner in our dining hall. It happened to be the day we celebrated Halloween, so our chef prepared some Halloween dinner package. Just as Mr. Wang said: our picturesque campus can bring out talents, wisdom and the best of people.
