2018年9月30日下午，上海宏润博源学校次家长会上半场在礼堂进行。陈文国总校长和外方Chris Moses 校长在致辞中，竟异口同声告诫家长：来参加家长会，千万不追究孩子有什么问题，最要紧的是和孩子、老师一起探讨，如何帮助孩子解决问题。

On the afternoon of Sep. 30th, Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School held the first half of its parents meeting in the school auditorium. General Principal Bowen and Foreign Principal Christopher Moses expressed the same idea to the parents: in the Parents' Meeting, you shall not blame the kids for their problems; instead, you should foucus on how to help your kids solve those problems through discussing with teachers.

这不是将难题三分了吗?老师有指导学生的职责，你有帮助孩子的义务，孩子更有自己的责任，一切行为在自己。

Thus, we have three parties that can help with this problem: teachers for guidance, parents for help, and students for being responsible for their own behavior.

这么一来，家长会显得暖意肆溢，而不是“山雨欲来风满楼”。

Therefore, SHBS Parents Meeting is a nice and precious occasion for helping students solve their problems rather than a scary occasion for the final judgement .

看下面几组镜头，就是家长会第二场的场景。为了学生个人隐私，一个教室只有一到二个交谈“点”，其余家长和孩子都等候在门外过道里。门外人虽不知道他们在说什么，但是，老师们全力以赴，用力地介绍什么，还是能从手势、身姿上面看出来。他们的表情，那么和缓，静静多看会儿画面，彷佛她们的谈话都清楚了。

Please have a look at some pictures from the second half of our Parents Meeting. To protect the students' privacy, we have two reception desks in one classroom, and other parents and students that want to talk with a certain teacher should wait in the corridor. Those on the corridor couldn't hear the coversation in the room; yet from the teacher's dedication, gentle posture and gesture, one may understand that the teachers were trying to help the students solve their problems.

那一家二口甚至一家三口，坐在老师面前，渴望、期盼，我们的孩子啊，他们是我们的孩子，是我们宏润博源的孩子，一个个都会好好的。

SHBS students are more than our students; they are our own children, too. We understand the parents' worries and expections and will take good care of each of them.

家长会应到时间是晚上5点，实际上到七点才最终结束。最后走出教室门的，多数是班主任吧。校园的天色早已墨蓝咯，但是，你能想到，第三部分家长会正在又掀一波高潮吗?

The Parents Meeting should have ended at 17:00, but it actually ended around 19:00. Most homeroom teachers were kept up late. Can you imagine that the extra part of the Parents Meeting just started?
