近期，上海宏润博源学校师生来到了朱家角课植园，这次游览简约却让人十分难忘。上海市青浦区朱家角镇被评为批中国特色小镇，朱家角地区四季分明，自然资源充足，是上海地区少有的传统江南水乡式古镇。

All teachers and students of SHBS paid a short but memorable visit to Kezhi Garden in the ancient town of Zhujiajiao.Located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, the ancient town of Zhujiajiao is evaluated as one of the first small towns with Chinese characteristics. Endowed with four distinct seasons and plenty of natural resources, Zhujiajiao is one of those traditional watery ancient towns south of the Yangtze River, which is rarely seen in Shanghai.

美中之美，是它座落在上海宏润博源学校边上，有举步即达的优越感。

Luckily, our school is just within walking distance of this ancient town, making us proud of our favorable position and convenient access.

底蕴丰厚的秀美古镇

趁着春寒刚过，东风势足，游览一下这座文化底蕴浓厚的美丽古镇。

With the spring chill gone and east wind blowing, it was really a good time to visit this beautiful ancient town with profound cultural heritage.

游览创意活动

走进朱家角北首西井街到达课植园，此间环境幽静，风光独好，是庄园式园林建筑。整个庄园,由厅堂区、假山区、园林区三大部分构成。厅堂内建筑十分精美，有着细致而考究的布置，处处显露着大户人家的豪华气派。从假山区到书城间，含着荷花池，将假山区隔成一小座半岛，一座小桥连接着两岸。园林区中竹树修长繁茂，还有各种古树名木。

Walking along Xijing street leading to the Kezhi Garden, we were surrounded by peaceful and unique garden style architecture. The entire Kezhi Garden consists of 3 areas: the hall area, the artificial hill area, and the garden area. The structures of the halls were elegantly designed and elaborately decorated, reflecting the luxurious manner of a big lord family. Between the artificial hill area and the study, a lotus pond separates the rockery into a small peninsula with a small bridge connecting both shores. Bamboos and various old and famous trees were thriving in the garden area.

“午后时光”SHBS在行动

学生们成群结队，跟随着教师们一起浏览着园林，一边互相交谈着春天，大家聚集在一起，有说有笑，一起度过了愉快的午后。

Students gathered in groups, following their teachers as they toured around the garden, talking to each other in laughter. They had a great time that afternoon.

之后，学生们渐渐分散活动，教师们在这美丽的风景地的长廊里召开教工会议，进行着热烈的讨论。

Afterwards, the students were dismissed, while all teachers, sitting along a corridor with beautiful views, had our routine faculty meeting, at which we had a heated discussion.

课植园意义

“课读之余，不忘耕植“，这就是课植园的意义。读书不忘耕植，边学习边践行，我们宏润博园根植在课植园边上，传承了古代仁人贤士的文化理念。课植园之行带给我们多么贴切而深刻的课程意义。

The significance of Kezhi Garden lies in a literal sense that we should not neglect cultivating our land after working hard on our studies, or in other words, we should put what we have learned into practice, or we should not separate theory from practice. Rooted adjacent to Kezhi Garden, SHBS people are lucky to have inherited those cultural concepts from ancient saints. We really learned a good lesson from this visit.
