在大家引颈期盼中，上海宏润博源学校迎来了崭新明亮的图书馆，配合本学期的阅读周活动，三月十八日展开了借书送礼的活动，当周每天前十位来图书馆借书的老师或同学，学校赠送一束鲜花，另外还有多肉植物及造型便利贴等小礼物，鼓舞更多的借书人与爱书人。

The long-awaited SHBS library opened to all students and faculties, with a band-new and bright look. In order to motivate more borrowers and bookworms in our Reading Week, on March 18th, our school library launched a week-long activity, which was to reward the first 10 borrowers every day with small gifts such a bunch of flowers, succulent plants and sticky notes etc.

在活动期间，有专程来拿鲜花的借书人，他们首先物色好要挑选的花，然后才去挑书，爱书更爱花;也有的同学是借书顺便拿礼物的，视花为附加的收获，甚至将机会谦让给其他人;更有一些人是为了借花献佛而来的，拿了花，一转头就献给了想表达感谢或心意的对方。

During the activity, some students came to borrow books specially for flowers. These people, who loved flowers more than books, sought out their favorite flowers before they chose their books. For others, flowers are only incidental to their main purpose of borrowing books. They considered flowers as an additional reward. Some of them even gave up their opportunity. Still others made a gift of the flowers they got from the library and gave them away to someone as a way of expressing their gratitude or best wishes.

借书送礼活动

无论来者是怀着什麽样的想法而来，图书馆永远欢迎呼朋引伴或江湖独行的各类读书人。阅读不仅是独乐乐，学校更鼓励大家交流分享，将读书过程中有特别感动或感触的佳句，亲笔手写在卡片上，挂在图书馆的小树，透过交流，将正能量影响周遭的人事物。

Reading is not only finding pleasure in books alone. Our school encourages students to share with others what they identify with most in the books they are reading. Therefore, teachers and students wrote down those well-turned phrases, sayings and quotes on colorful cards, and hung them up on the branches of little trees outside the gate of the library, hoping to spread positive energy among those around us. Whatever intention they have when visiting the library, our school library always welcome all kinds of readers, whether they are with friends or alone.

为了提供师生更多样的阅读选择，在学校与家长的支持下，图书馆今年新增了超过700册图书，累积馆藏量近6,000册中外文图书,丰富了阅读的内容和环境，让人人能各择所爱，欢喜借书，营造全校阅读的风气。

In order to provide teachers and students with more reading choices, funded by both the school board and parents, so far this year, our school library has newly bought over 700 volumes of books, making a total collection of nearly 6,000 volumes of books in both Chinese and English, enriching what to read, and beautifying our reading environment. Our library aims to create a reading atmosphere among all people in the school, in which everyone can choose what they love to read and borrow books in a good mood.
