2019年3月11日下午CAS时间，上海宏润博源学校英语配音比赛决赛在学校礼堂拉开帷幕。本次比赛35名同学提交作品参加初选，最终17位同学获得决赛资格，在学校舞台上进行现场配音展示，精彩纷呈!

The CAS session on March 11th afternoon saw the opening of the final round of SHBS English Dubbing Contest in the school auditorium. Thirty-five students took part in the first round and seventeen finalists were qualified to stand on the stage to partake in the on-spot dubbing contest. All of them performed fantastically, providing a visual and auditory feast for the audience.

配音比赛

比赛分三个年级组进行，各年级组进入决赛的人数依次是：九年级组(7人)、十年级组(6人)、十一&十二年级组(4人)。每位同学都有两次展示自己的机会，一次是个人现场配音展示，另一次是同年级组内自由组队，共同进行现场配音展示。比赛最终只评选出各年级组的冠军，选手们既是竞争对手，也须进行团队合作。竞争很是激烈，选手们也都做好了充分准备!

This contest contains three groups: ninth grade (7 finalists); tenth grade (6 finalists); eleventh and twelfth grade (4 finalists). Each finalist has two opportunities to present herself or himself: one is individual dubbing, and the other is group dubbing, in which a finalist need to team up with other player or players within the same grade group to present collaborative dubbing. Thus, the competitors also need to learn how to cooperate with each other. In the end, this contest acknowledges only the champion of each grade group. The competition is intense! Yet, our finalists were all fully-prepared!

对于坐在观众席上的老师和同学来说，这场决赛真是一场视听享受。一面欣赏着激动人心的各种经典影视片段：经典动画如《神偷奶爸》、《精灵旅社》、《白雪公主》、《辛普森一家》、《功夫熊猫》、《冰雪奇缘》、《疯狂动物城》;经典温情电影如《泰坦尼克号》、《怦然心动》、《天生一对》、《奇迹男孩》;热血英雄电影如《毒液》、《碟中谍》、《霍比特人》等;搞笑美剧如《破产姐妹》、《初来乍到》;每个画面都充满精彩，都不想错过。 另一面又惊叹于台上同学们声音的表现力：这真的是台上的同学现场配音吗?确定不是原声吗?哇!这也太厉害了吧!大家的声音都好放得开呀!白雪公主的后妈笑声也太魔性了!11年级钟同学一人分饰六个角色耶，而且每个都很像原声!真的不是原声吗?! 台下的师生被台上的表演牢牢吸引住，时不时一阵惊叹声，一阵爆笑声!

For teachers and students sitting in the auditorium, this final round contest was quite an enjoyment. On the one hand, they could enjoy the video clips of classic movies or TV dramas: aminations like Despicable Me, Hotel Transylvania, Snow White, The Simpsons, Kongfu Panda, Frozen, and Zootopia; romantic movies like Titanic, Flipped, and The Parent Trap; heroic movies like Venom, Mission Impossible, and The Hobbit; sitcoms like Two Broke Girls andFresh Off Boat; every scene is wonderful and can’t be missed. On the other hand, they were excited by the dubbing of the finalists: Is it the voice of my classmate? Are you sure that it is not the original soundtrack of the movie? Wow! Super-amazing! They are so open and confident in mimicking different sounds! My God!How intoxicating Snow White’s step-mother’s laughter is! Eleventh grader Harry impersonates six characters, each with a distinct voice just as the original soundtrack! Are you sure that it is not the original soundtrack? The audience were riveted by the dubbing show presented by the finalists, letting out bursts of exclamations and laughers now and then.

比赛结束后台下一片掌声，许多此次未参赛的同学摩拳擦掌：这么有趣的比赛下次我也要试试，还可以顺便提升下英语能力!许多老师也表示：下次也可以组织个教师队伍参与比赛，和同学们一起放飞下自我!上海宏润博源学校丰富的校园活动的意义也在于此，给同学们提供更多展示精彩的舞台，拓展视野的分享，鼓励同学们多去尝试，找到自己的激情所在，持之以恒地去开拓进取!

The contest ended in round after round of applause. It also kindled the passion of the students who didn’t sign up for this contest: English dubbing is so much fun, and it can also help improve my English; I definitely want to try next time! Many teachers also felt that they should have a faculty team for this contest next time, so that they could have fun with the students. It is herein that lies the value of Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School’s abundant activities: to provide various stages for students to show what they are good at, and to provide more opportunities to broaden the students’ horizon so that they can find where their passion is and work on it continuously!
