上海宏润博源学校九年级的科学化学课由夏思婧老师担任教学。夏老师本科就读于武汉大学化学系，研究生就读于南京大学化学系，毕业后继续深造，获得英国谢菲尔德大学化学博士。毕业后一直从事国际学校化学学科教学工作，今年已是第四年。

Ms. Jessie Xia teaches Science Chemistry course of the 9th graders in Shanghai Hongrun Boyuan School. Ms. Xia got her bachelor’s degree in Wuhan University, master’s degree in Nanjing University, and doctorate in University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. She has been teaching chemistry in international schools since her graduation. This year is her fourth year of teaching.

在九年级的科学化学课上，同学们最近学习了元素和元素周期表的相关知识。月考时，夏老师给同学们布置了一项任务，作为月考考核的一部分：在元素周期表中选择一个自己感兴趣的元素，查阅相关资料，制作PPT，在课堂上向全班同学介绍这一元素。

In Science Chemistry course, 9th graders are learning about chemical elements and the periodic table. In this monthly test, Ms. Xia gave the students the following assignment as part of the test: each student shall choose one element that he or she is interested in from the periodic table, search more information about it, make a power point and introduce it to the class.
